If someone is using this iron and it works well and is worth the purchase? My hair is wavy and freak out, so that is not necessarily a rectifier or something really powerful.

I use a Helen of Troy curling iron and I love it! My hair is very thick and very hard to find a curling iron with the heat, my hair curls or straight and needs.

Yes, it should be ok. I have a sheet of NP and works very well, perhaps they should. Chi Irons are also impressive, but they can get expencive.
